About us
Intend BV was set up in 2006 in response to a gap in the market — provision of flexible, hands-on support and advice to help companies bid more effectively for public sector contracts. We can provide a few hours to help bidders with a specific problem or query… or we can provide a more complete package of assistance to make your organization a more professional and effective bidder. We also work with local and national government to deliver tender writing training programmes for SMEs and the third sector.
Experience
Intend Directors Joeke Abbing and Gill Joy both offer 20 years experience in business development and management of public sector programmes and projects. Much of their career has focused on identifying, evaluating and responding to public sector tenders both at national and international levels. They have particular experience of European Institutions’ procurement procedures and have worked in Brussels and Luxembourg on international projects and business/innovation support networks.
Where specialist input is required for Intend activities, we call on our network of associates operating in key business sectors as well as legal experts in specialist procurement areas.
