Intend on CDS Framework

Publication Date: 10 March, 2014, 00:00

Co-operative Development Scotland (CDS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Scottish Enterprise, with a Scotland wide remit to support the growth of co-operative enterprises across Scotland.    Co-operatives are businesses, owned and controlled by their members, set up to meet a common purpose.

Gill and Gavin will be advising companies seeking to set up a consortium co-operative for the purpose of joint tendering or joint purchasing. The CDS model has been used this way by several groups of companies and has helped them to win business that they could not have achieved on their own.

Intend has been collaborating with Co-operative Development Scotland to deliver the Tendering Together training programme over the past two years so this new development to the CDS relationship will provide an interesting one-to-one approach to helping with joint tenders.
